13th Warsaw Seminar on Human Rights
Rights of the Child in the Light of the European Convention on Human Rights
XIII Warsaw Seminary is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Ombudsman for Children on November 19, 2019 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
Due to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which was signed on November 20, 1989, the 13th Warsaw Seminary will be devoted to the issue of children's rights in the light of the European Convention on Human Rights and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
This year's seminar will be an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience on the standards of protection of children's rights in the Strasbourg system (panel I), challenges related to the implementation of children's rights (panel II) and good practices and priorities for action in this area (panel III).
The conference will be attended by representatives of the European Court of Human Rights, the Secretariat of the Council of Europe, the European Network of Ombudsmen for Children, as well as scientific, legal and non-governmental organizations.
