15th EMN conference “Cooperation with third countries in fight against smuggling and trafficking in human beings”
We would like to invite you for the European Migration Network National Conference “Cooperation with third countries in fight against smuggling and trafficking on human beings” which will be held in Poland, Warsaw on June 3-4th, 2019 (5 Batorego St,)
The goal of the conference is to bring together experts and policy makers to exchange experiences and views on best practices and challenges in collaboration with third countries in combating trafficking and smuggling of persons.
The aim of this two-day conference is to raise awareness of the causes and nature of smuggling and trafficking of persons, and to discuss the measures of stopping this crime. The conference will focus mainly on one of the dimensions of the issue – best practices and challenges in collaboration with third countries in combating trafficking and smuggling of persons. On top of giving an overview of the EU-level actions and initiatives addressing prevention of illegal migration, a comparative perspective will be taken to the already existing activities addresing smuggling and trafficking in human beings.
